We wish you a Merry...... ER ??

Kayleigh's Pre-School Christmas program was on and the little girly was singing, Rudolph the Red nosed reindeer, Jingle Bells and We Wish you a Merry Christmas. It was very cute, she was so happy to have the family there and finally perform what she has been singing around the house for a days and days. Although.. I did not win mom points of the moment... because my batteries for my camera had died.. I did not charge them ...DOH! I did manage to get a few and with my cell phone. It was short but oh so cute. We were so proud of her.
Kayleigh with her antlers posing after the performance.. such a happy little girl.
Kayleigh and her Cael.. although not the greatest picture.

So after cookies and a fun drive home... we settled in at home.. only baby Cael was a bit fussy and I thought he was... tired and so I gave him some extra loving and off to bed for him and Kayleigh. Well, he was restless and did not want to sleep or tried to and could not, he wanted to be held but he just was not happy. Every hour or sooner he was waking up and I noticed he was not breathing well....he was panting heavily and he was struggling. OFF TO THE ER.. 20 minute ride into town into the ER... it was a good thing we got in RIGHT AWAY and immediately he was on oxygen, then after a breathing treatment, a steroid shot and more and more tests...it seemed like the poor little guy could not get a break. He was soon scared of the nurses and what was to come. Poor baby! Finally we got to see our pediatrician.. LOVE HIM and he came in to tell us... SURE ENOUGH.. he is being admitted for some evaluation, breathing treatments... among other tests. The outcome, Bronchiolitis...which then triggered Asthma...poor baby. However after a two days on the hospital, he was well enough to come home but we continue on with the three breathing treatments a day. He is doing a lot better but he does still cough here and there and I watch his breathing really closely now. What a SCARE that was! Not a fun experience. I did get some interesting photos of him via cell phone and a video.

He scratched his nose on the carpet, silly boy. He was NOT HAPPY with the tubes in his nose, he kept taking it out. ~

But no matter how he felt, he always managed to pose a smile ~

My sweet, silly, sleepy boy ~
The second day, much better and ready to go home! Let's go mom!

How do you work this thing.. get me outta here ~

Below is some video of our last hour in the hospital, trying to keep entertained.

Such a silly boy, but he had us cracking up and that's what mattered. Happiness ~
