Check Up Time ~

It was the 4 year check up for little girly and 9 month well check up for baby Cael. All went well, Kayleigh is now 66th% in her height growth but still below 50th% in her weight, the skinny little petite thang! Cael was doing good at 10th% in height and below 5th% in his weight, the doc said we needed to work on beefing him up but due to being sick, it was understandable.

Cael is no longer on three treatments a day, he is off the albuterol and now just taking the steroid Pulmicort twice a day, (am and pm). So, that is good but the cough needs to go AWAY!

So, then came the shots! Normally Cael would not get any on the 9 month well check but he got behind one SO.. he got one. Kayleigh started to tease brother that he was getting a shot and daddy quickly said.. just wait.. your getting FOUR and they are not fun.

Sure enough, Cael got his one and Kayleigh laughed the whole time... nice support there big sis! (no photo of that) but we got her!

This was just the first arm, she was not happy as you can see... she kept saying no, no...not another one! Poor baby! However I couldn't help but laugh because it was little brudder's turn to now laugh... he he..but he did look concerned too.

So, after the drama of shots.. she got 4 stickers, lots of hugs and kiss from the nurses and off to Dairy Queen for some ice cream!

She LOVED her chocolate ice cream but only took a couple of good bites and she said she was tired and wanted to go for a ride in the car and take a nap. So, we did that very thing and she did sleep on the way and two hours after we got home. She woke up and wanted to finish her ice cream.


This little guy slept as soon as we left the doctors office, through the ice cream fun, on the way home and only an hour or so at home.



Overall a good day with some DRAMA ~ !
