Easter ~

It took me awhile to get this posted.. it's been crazy, all good but busy. Easter weekend was wonderful, although I have piles of laundry waiting.. but such is life.

Saturday, Kayleigh and I went downtown Prescott to attend our 1st Egg-stravaganza... and it will be our last. It was just WAY too many people...too many games for the kids to have to wait in line forever to do.. kids don't wanta wait in lines! But they will for the Jumpers which she did and LOVED. The bad part of the day and final thing before leaving.. was the egg hunt. They should have organized it a bit better and although they grouped the kids by age... she was trampled on! I lost sight of her after being bumped by other people and she went through the crowd trying to get eggs only getting lost and scared and crying. Poor baby! I felt terrible.. it's the worse feeling to not see your child in a crowd!!! As the crowd lessened... I could see her with a friend I have met a couple of times.. and a sweet, nice lady she is.. I was so grateful it was her! My poor girly was so shaken up she had a lil wet accident! I WOULD TOO, I am shocked I didn't! So after that craziness we got a bite to eat and all she was much better. She asked.." mommy, why do people have to do that for eggs, that's just CRAZINESS!?".

So, Easter day approached and I will let the photos speak for themselves...it was a fun day and I am happy that my brother and mom came up to spend it with the kiddos ~ We had appetizers, which I THOUGHT.. would have been easier and less time spent in the kitchen.. UMMMM NO! I think slappin a ham in the oven with a side of taters and a veggie would have been A LOT easier! Thank god for the wine after all was said and done! YUMMY!

So, one lil story to tell while Kayleigh was hunting for eggs... to give her a hint of an egg I put up high on the lantern. I said "Kayleigh.. where does the light come from?"...she puts her head back and says... "God" ~! I LOVE HER ~




I snuck this one in, this one was on Friday, he looked so cute in the swing taking in some Vit. D and snoozing ~



At the Downtown Egg-Stravaganza... we just got there and we dived in to some face art. This is the 2nd attempt the right cheek did not like the bunny.... Here she is getting a glittery tattoo of...hmmm what could it be...a chic on her cheeky ~

Time for the JUMPERS ~ She loved them!!! They had a total of three, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse...and of course she had to sing the song while waiting in line. Ratatouille and Nemo. I captured her here..jumping and seeing if I was watching. Jump baby... JUMP!

After all that craziness and tears... we went and had a bite.. MUCH BETTER!



Came home and this is what I walked in on... SO PRESH ~ !

Caels eggs were tiny filled with cheese puffs and scattered about on the floor and reachable places for him but big sis helped him out and he was so smart to open them up and chow down ~

YAY! OMG...super excited girly.. I could not even get a non-blury photo.. she has been asking me for TOY STORY DVD's for a long time now..and she finally got...she was so happy. She watched both of them and then the first one again.. and every day she talks about them. She says now that she has movies like her cousin Kyle.



Caels turn... his football basket.. he was grabbing for the chocolate.. that's my boy~



He loved his Cars basket too.. and of course his snacks ~



The BIG MONEY EGG ~ we hid an egg inside with four $1 bills, one for each year she is. We will continue this every year...fun.. she was excited.

A lil dissert before bedtime ~ She loved strawberries n' cream.. normally she doesn't eat lemon cake.. but she did this time. YUMMY ~
