Over the hills and through the woods... its off to Great Grandparents house we go ~

This past weekend, we had a very special and a surprise visit to my Shoushe and Nono's house.. which is my grandparents (mom's side). This was a long and awaited visit.. as for they had yet to meet Cael! This has been a HUGE goal for me to do! Cael was constantly sick.. in and out of ER visits and hospital stays.. and on their end they have had some illness, surgeries and such going on as well. It was sad that it took THIS LONG for them to meet.. and even though Cael was coming down with something.. I said... WE ARE GOING and that is THAT!

So.. we took the long car ride to Benson, not a bad trip.. we made our stops and I found that Cracker Barrel's gift shop is actually pretty cute.. I got a lot of gift ideas in there!

We had a WONDERFUL visit and even though Cael had a high fever and was feeling icky.. he had fun too! I loved to see them playing and interacting with their great grandparents and to know that I once was this young playing here too! It made it even more special!

We look forward to more visits and playtime in the backyard... that is HUGE.

Loved our special weekend and I loved that I captured a lot of fun photos for memories. (... Although, little miss Kayleigh was often too busy for photos.. and the times that were good photo ops.... by the time I got my camera.. the photo op was gone. So, not too many photos of Kayleigh I do have a video of her at the end.. sorry for the kinked neck this may cause. A lot of photos of Cael but it was his first visit there and so.. it's okay.
