Today marks a VERY special day, very dear to me!
It's a HAPPY 4th Birthday to my dear girly Kayleigh!
I was up late last night frosting many, many mini chocolate cupcakes. I wanted to suprise her with them in the morning and take them for her pre-school class! With her daddy out of town on travel, I wanted to make it special for her.
Kayleigh woke up this morning, with her usual request, milk and toons. I got up, got her milk, sat her up on the counter, picked up her cute little choc. cupcake with vanilla frosting and rainbow dot sprinkles and sang to her a very short version of "Happy Birthday" she was so HAPPY and of course asked for another and then said, " I love you mommy". That was all I need to hear!
So, then today at school I suprised her with cupcakes for the afternoon snack for her class. I got there and she was still sleeping, she was SO suprised to see me and with CUPCAKES no less! She was happy to have the attention and of course a couple of the girls wanted to sit next to Kayleigh. They sang "Happy Birthday" and another song praising thanks.. SO CUTE! and they all had three cupcakes and were very happy! I think I made her day and I got MAJOR mom points for that! Woo Hoo! Here are a couple of pics of the great event:
