Halloween ~

I am a little late with my Halloween tales...however here are the photos and stories of the festive holiday.

Halloween really kicked off on Friday, at Kayleigh's school. They had a little party for the kids with of course it being a pot luck and so I made some mini chocolate cupcakes with flying skeletons... fun! The kids got dressed up and played games. Kayleigh was totally exhausted and went to bed VERY EARLY that night!

The skeletons had parachutes...fun.

She had a pet butterfly to go with her outfit... but of course.

At school, playing pin the nose on the pumpkin... she got pretty close.

The had to throw clothes pins into the pumpkin center...she made it!

Halloween started off with a normal day... so I thought. I was not feeling the best but I thought perhaps some biscuits and I will be energized to start the busy day of cleaning and organizing then off for some Trick or Treating!

Breakfast was not good, so I laid down for a little bit... then a little bit more... a little bit more....

I had done nothing, I was officially sick, having flu symptoms with a fever. YUCK! Not tonight...please not tonight!!!

Kayleigh was the sweetest, knowing mommy did not feel good she made ME a bed using her pillows and mine and a special blanket and then she said, I will rub your back mommy, you feel better. She even got her little stool and climbed up top to get her Tylenol to give me! She is such a little mommy sometimes.. so caring and lovable! She was so sweet and I just soaked it all in, letting her rub and pat on my back! LOVE HER!

Nathan and Kayleigh left to get some things done, which was awesome because I really did get some rest but it was not enough. However I did what I had to do and I pulled through for my little fairy princess. Keeping my mind and body busy was the only answer. We got ready and off we went pounding the pavement for some TREATS!

Kayleigh was SO SO SWEET... she was polite and said THANK YOU everytime and was so excited to ring the next doorbell.

Then it was off to a friends house where they were having a Halloween Party... we were just stopping by, due to me not feeling well but I didn't want to disappoint my little fairy princess. The party was fun, but we were getting tired and I HAD to go lay down. So the fun day was over but it was a great night!
