At 6:52 am... my baby girl... had officially turned 5! Wow! Really 5! FIVE years ago she was this sweet baby girl.. that was to be born on my birthday October 11th... BUT of course she wanted her very own day ... and now, I see why! She is all sweet and sass with a HUGE charming sweet and VERY imaginative, creative mind! Everyday she surprises me with new things she has learned, she picks up things so quickly and she likes things HER way!
She makes me laugh, she makes me proud, she makes me smile and she gets me a little sad. To know she is getting so much bigger and she is so excited to be so independent and do things on her own.
She's a big girl.. as she said this morning.. " I'm a big girl.. I am 5! ".
Yet, she has her moments when she still wants to be mom's baby girl.. and that's okay too.. because I know one day.. she will want to be left alone.. with her friends.. no mom's allowed. I tell her she will ALWAYS be my baby girl!
So baby girl.. I am happy and proud and really words can not express the overwhelming LOVE.. I am so full of emotions for YOU!
You are one VERY SPECIAL GIRL!

This weekend we will celebrate her 5th .... Tropical Pirate style.. ARRRGH! ~ Stay tuned ....

Tonight, we are having dinner of her choice out.. not sure yet but it sounds like a pizza place.
Sunday, will be the big celebration with a Tropical Pirate Parrrty ~ so fun!
