Christmas Gifts of 2010

It seemed like a quick Christmas this year.... a lot leading into it and it quickly came and went. Overall it was a very nice Christmas to have family around and watching everyone open their presents. The kiddos were so excited, Kayleigh was so anxious to open presents. We did stocking's first and she was not happy to see that she got some coal in her stocking... but I did warn her, that if she is sassy.. Santa will put coal in her stocking to let her know he is listening and watching. You will see photos of her finding it below ...it's bittersweet!

Setting traditions with the kiddos, tried to do some icing of cookies and decorate them but.. the kiddos were tired and Cael was not feeling well. So, we moved on to opening one present each..(which was matching pj's) to wear for Christmas and to get some photos in front of the tree.

Then set the cookies and milk out for Santa and off to bed for a Christmas story. Then Nathan and I wrapped presents and watched a movie ..and before you know it... it was super late.. or early in the am.

Christmas Day my dad and brother came up early to watch the kiddos open their presents and that was a lot of fun~ Then my sister, brother-n-law and nephew came up and we had some very yummy cinnamon rolls and grammy's tamale's! Then it was off to open more presents. Everyone was very happy and pleased of their gifts and we had a very fun and relaxing day just hanging out. We had some ham, tamale's, steak, lobster tails, Grammy's yummy cheese ball and bean dip.. and dad's zesty cheese dip. All was good and filling! We were to go see grammy on Christmas Eve, but she was sick.. poor grammy but we will see her soon! Grammy had given Chris her goodies of love and he brought with us to share...THANKS GRAMMY for all your hard work and wrapping presents!

So, this was Christmas and now we move on to celebrating in the new year.. I look forward to so much. I hope this year brings our little family much love, respect, honesty and family devotion! I love my family and all I have worked hard for to share with them.

she knew what this was.. a zhu zhu she says as she unwraps.. I never seen or heard her talk about one.. but she knew! I love this gift for her.. and she loves it too....great tool for practicing writing

Cael LOVES, LOVES, LOVES his vacuum! He will vacuum all day long!

He got some boxing gloves and a mini punching bag from Ma-maw and Pappy.

Trinity, Gunner, Mick and Autumn all had a fun day too! They were good for the most part.

They got to go to the big field and run around. They all got along well for the first time together. Our dogs need to listen better.. they will get there... IN TIME!

..and these are my homeade gifts this year. Cael the ASU, Nathan golf balls & tees, and Kayleigh and pretty pink. I just need to make me one.

They are pretty comfy and I am glad Nathan is actually using his.
