I have been busy, shopping for presents, decorating, creating our holiday cards.. in which they are not out yet.. but they will go out tomorrow. I put a sneak preview up on the header.. just part of the Christmas cards that will go out.
The most exciting Christmas event happened Tuesday night as Nathan brought in my Christmas present... a CRICUT! Not the insect but the most wonderful craft invention.... EVER! I LOVE... LOVE... LOVE my new wonderful gift that I have been asking for.... FOREVER it seems. I can do so, so.. SO much..the possibilities are endless and I am getting even more crafty these days for me, my friends and family. I opened it up and started playing.. then in the moment of watching my little cutter in action.. I realized I did not give my Nater a hug and kiss.. OOPS.. got caught up in the excitement. I then ran over to him and gave him a big hug and kiss and thanked him with such excitement.. in which he called me a dork.. and off I went to play some more! I felt like such kid... and every time I turn on my Cricut.. I get that excitement once more! ...isn't THAT what Christmas is about! I just can't wait for Christmas morning to see my beautiful kiddos with their excitement too! I L-O-V-E CHRISTMAS!
So off to celebrate more Christmas festivities, tonight is Kayleigh's Christmas concert, I will post photos and a video. Friday is my company's Christmas Party... and yes... I am on the committee again this year and we are busy but having fun. This year is the theme of "Going home for Christmas" with a log cabin, cozy feel to it.. we have a set up a pretty fun party, with yummy food, wonderful give aways and we hope people love it. This Saturday is followed with baking.. BAKING...BAKING! I love to BAKE.. and this year we WILL DO the cut out cookies and decorate.. oh the mess.. but it will be fun!
