later that night... little Kayleigh was having a hard time going to sleep.
After much time with her to to get her to sleep, rubbing her back, reading books, playing with her hair... she finally fell asleep. Only .... to wake up in a few hours to bad, yucky dreams.
She was so sad and crying.. so I had to come up with something quick to help her feel better and try to sleep again.
I remembered I had stashed a little jar of glitter up in the kitchen cabinet.
Woo Hoo... mom points!!
So, I named it "Sweet Dreams to Be ....dust".. and I sprinkled some on her pillow and she was a VERY happy little girl. She felt so special and fell asleep with a smile on her little face ~
This little jar of happiness will be kept close at hand.
