Special visits while healing ~

Here are some more photos of the little munchkin in the hospital. He is much, much, much better. We are following up with breathing treatments at home which depending on his mood.. he will take it while watching his cartoons, sleeping or I have to wrestle him to keep from wanting to go play. His appetite is coming back. He is bouncing all over the place but still not able to go out and play. It's just too windy and I am being the good/bad mom and not letting him out. Poor guy just laid flat on the ground and cried when he had seen sissy out there. I had to distract him as much as I could.. even to the point of CHEESE PUFFS. Phew.. so glad that still works...for now. He is being really affectionate with Nathan and I.. he is giving wonderful hugs and kisses and snuggle time.. sharing and going back in forth to me and daddy. So so cute! I love his affection!! I will take IT!

So.. all is well.. just hope that darn wind goes away SOON.. so he can enjoy the outdoors with sissy! I may just need to put him in a big plastic bubble, lol. Here are a few pics from his last days at the hospital. ( bad quality pics due to cell phone.. sorry)

THEN.. we just HAD to give him a quick shower! OMG he was so dirty and stinky.

HE FOUGHT US though! He screamed and cried.. it was as if we were torturing him!

The next morning we came in to drop off some more things and pay a visit. He was having breakfast.

medicine time! Daddy is SO SO good with him! Nathan always insists on giving the kids their medicine. He's an AWESOME daddy! Doctor daddy he was for several days and nights! He was so patient and I SO APPRECIATE & LOVE HIM SO!!!

After work.. Kayleigh went home to take care of the dogs and since Nathan and I are on a health kick.. I made some shrimp and broccoli and then we headed to the hospital. Dressed Kayleigh in pj's .. I just knew we would be there late.

Then.. it was off to PLAY! It was actually really good therapy for Cael to open up those lungs!

Daddy took many, many....many laps around with the wagon.

Then... it was somersaults in the halls ~ FUN!

FINALLY!! HOME. Friday 13th was a LUCKY day for us!!

He was home in the afternoon and ALL WAS HAPPY!

Saturday we went for lunch, hair cuts, Costco and grocery. He was happy to be out and about!

This morning is was SUPER excited to see his Mimi ~ As soon as I told him that we were going to see Mimi.. he went out the door.. I quickly RAN after him.. but he was READY! So happy to see him EXCITED!
