Baby boy is TWO ~

My little monkey ~

Today, two years ago at 7:40 am, at 35 weeks of being in my belly.. I had you although it was not the scheduled date for the cesarean..it was weeks away but we got into surgery right away and.... there it was.. the beautiful cry that I had been waiting to hear for weeks! My beautiful baby boy with beautiful eyes, brown hair, pale complexion 6lbs, 7oz, 173/4". They whisped you away after a quick kiss, a photo with mommy and daddy. The doctors finished the surgery with me and off to recovery I went.. all the while I was so anxious to see you as I waited for what it seemed forever! You had some difficulties with your sugar levels and your lungs and had to be put on oxygen right away and for a couple of days after. I suppose you were a little early.. and I am sorry that I gave you quite the scare.. it's no wonder you wanted to come out. Your dear big sis gave me a double whammy of stomach bug.. at both ends.. your world was ROCKING! Poor baby, you were ready.. and I don't blame you.

I love you dearly.. more than words can describe, you are such a sweet, loving, smart, curious, and caring little boy. You catch on very well to others, to things and you are very sure of what you want but your very calm and careful with your actions. You do have quite the temper.. but comparison to your dear sis.. its MUCH more TAME. You have given us quite the scares your first year and a half with in and out of doctor visits and hospitals stays with your asthma but you were such a BIG TROOPER and I am so proud of you!

I love that your becoming more and more independent, you know what you want and you try so hard to do it on your own.. it's so awesome to see your determination. I love that your starting to become more vocal, your little voice cracks me up and when you can't say the words.. your sign language and jesters are just adorable.. especially when you knock on the fridge for something. I love that your a mama's boy and you love to snuggle on me and give me long hugs! You are funny with your kisses and I ADORE getting them. I love to watch you interact with your daddy, your snuggle times.. although quick very cute. To see your cute and witty ways with daddy is just to precious. I love that you are very excited to see big sister no matter what and that you love to play with her, you have much patience and I love how you do stand your ground when she becomes a little too much.

I look forward to today and celebrating you being TWO.. I love you monkey and I look forward to many, many, many x a trillion more birthdays with you ~
