St. Patrick's Day Fun ~

St. Patrick's Day overall was a fun and festive day ~ With one bad lil incident but we got over that.. sorta. Since this household does indeed have IRISH blood.. we celebrate.. however due to Cael's birthday coming up.. I decided this year to tie in St. Patrick's Day and his birthday and do his birthday Irish style. So, we will have our Irish dinner on Tuesday. So, Wednesday night we started with making mini pots of gold cupcakes.. aka mini lemon cakes with cream cheese frosting and sent them off to Kayleigh school for her St. Patty's day fun! Kayleigh's was all excited to wake up in the morning and ran around the house saying.. It's St. Patrick's Day! YAY.. Lenny is coming!

At her school they celebrate in green and Lenny the Leprechaun is pretty sneaky and comes around leaving his footprints and glitter every where all the while making a little mess here and there. Very fun for the kids and next year when she is in Kindergarten, I will carry on the tradition at home which will be a lot of fun. Kayleigh had a really fun day at school and came home to tell me all about it!
Nathan and I had lunch which was fun and dinner was simple, cheesy wheels for dinner and Kayleigh feel asleep quickly after dinner .. she was wiped out. Here are some photos ~

.....and this was the lil incident that happened. I scratched the car turning and getting

a wee bit personal with a brick wall! DUH! UMMM HI.. the wall called and wants to know if the car wants the paint back! I can't believe I did that! I mean REALLY..I pass this wall twice a day when dropping Cael off at the sitter. The good thing is that it's NOT that horrible.. could have been worse and no one was hurt. However.. I have to figure out the best way to get this fixed. In the meantime Nathan makes fun of me and tells me to watch out for walls.

After dinner.. Cael and the camera.. we put Kayleigh to bed
