I feel so fortunate and blessed to be living where I live.. the house I have, the family I have, food, shelter, water, clothes.. all the everyday things that we take advantage of EVERYDAY. The tsunami's and earthquakes in Japan are just devastating. The images and articles I read and hear are just so upsetting. Yet I can not do anything about it other than pray. So much as been lost and I feel guilty for enjoying my car ride and coffee to work and knowing that I will have a warm meal for dinner and a comfy bed to sleep in. I have no control.. no one has control over mother nature and the devastation's that follow. However we can control our positive outcome of our life and people that we surround ourselves with. We have to be grateful, appreciative of all the small things in life and live to the fullest. Hug our children, hug the ones we love, SAY I LOVE YOU...NO MATTER WHAT! Hug your friends.. and your animals.. be kind and reach out to those that you CAN help! Life is so precious and we must not forget that.
Okay.. so on that note.. I will move on to my favs from last week.
- Going home after hearing so much about Japan and BEING with my family.
- Kayleigh having a good week and getting her a stuffed puppy for good behavior.
- Getting the house all spring cleaned, organized and I managed to change some things around here and there. Fun and crafty decorations around the house.
- Playing with my kiddos
- Relaxing with Nathan after the kiddos went to bed and just being chill ~
- Playing Words with Friends with Nathan and trying to come up good words but he just comes back at me with high points. (URG.. he is TOO good at this game).
- Girl Scout cookies.. .my fav's are the Trefoils with orange juice... don't you judge me!
- Hugs from my kiddos! LOVE!
- The smell of a freshly spring cleaned home!
- Making fun crafty things for others.
- Being consistent with my 3 miles jogs in 40 minutes.
...and those were a few of my favorite things ~
